Terms of Use
Story Imaginarium
Effective date: June 2026
1. Agreement
By purchasing or using any Story Imaginarium product, including First Forge, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the product.
Story Imaginarium is operated by Sarah McKnight, carrying on business as Story Imaginarium (referred to in these terms as "Story Imaginarium," "we," or "us"). We are based in Ontario, Canada.
2. What You Are Purchasing
When you purchase First Forge, you receive a licence to use a collection of digital documents and materials for personal, creative use. You are not purchasing software, a subscription service, or ongoing access to a platform. You are purchasing a one-time, permanently licensed set of materials delivered digitally upon purchase.
3. Licence
Story Imaginarium grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials included in your purchase for your own creative and writing projects.
You may:
Use the materials for your own novel development and writing projects
Return to the materials across multiple projects and drafts
Use the materials with any AI tool of your choice
You may not:
Share, distribute, resell, sublicence, or otherwise transfer the materials to any other person
Reproduce or publish the materials in any form, in whole or in part
Use the materials to create a competing product, course, template system, creative toolkit, AI workflow, GPT, prompt library, or commercial derivative of any kind
Remove or alter any copyright notices within the materials
Teach from, present, or use the materials in any paid or unpaid instructional context, including workshops, courses, coaching sessions, group programs, or similar settings
4. Intellectual Property
All materials included in First Forge — including but not limited to the Idea Forge, Plot Forge, Craft Codex, AI Operations Manuals, guides, and supporting documents — are the intellectual property of Story Imaginarium and are protected under the Copyright Act (Canada) and applicable international copyright law.

Purchasing a licence to use these materials does not transfer ownership or any intellectual property rights to you.
5. No Refunds
Due to the immediate digital delivery of all materials upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds.
If you have a question about the product before purchasing, you are welcome to contact us before completing your order.
6. No Warranties
The materials are provided as-is. Story Imaginarium makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the results you will achieve from using the materials. Story Imaginarium does not guarantee that use of First Forge will result in a completed novel, publication, or any specific creative outcome.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Story Imaginarium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the materials, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of Story Imaginarium materials after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Our checkout and product delivery is handled by Systeme.io, a third-party platform. When you purchase through our site, your transaction data is processed by Systeme.io in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms of service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

We retain your order information (name, email, purchase record) for as long as necessary to fulfil our legal and business obligations, including record-keeping for tax and accounting purposes.
